Leader

Penny Garner  Your Key Person

I would like to introduce myself as your child’s key person at Anstey Pre-School.  My name is Penny Garner and I live in Anstey with my Husband Greg and my two children Dylan and Jake.

I have been in childcare for the past four years and have gained my Qualifications along the way leading to my current role as Managers.

I love working with children because I find all aspects very challenging, it’s nice to see the children grow into confident individuals and it gives me great satisfaction when they achieve something whether it be big or small.

Out of work I dedicate my time to my family, I am also an assistant Beaver Leader in the village which I also find interesting and challenging.

I love to be outdoors and often go camping or caravanning with my family.

Deputy

Laura Lee  Your Key Person

Hi I would just like to introduce myself as your child's key worker.

My name is Laura Lee and I live with my husband and my two children. I have a little girl, Maisie-Grace aged 8 and a little boy, Tyler aged 5, who are both at primary school. We also have a pet rabbit called Alfie.

My background in childcare started in 2004 when I became a teacher, which I really enjoyed, but left to become a full time Mummy. I have a BA QTS with advanced study of early years.

I love working with children, watching them develop and helping them to do this. I believe a preschool should be a happy fun and safe experience which I believe we provide.

In my spare time I like to bake, watch football and spend time with my family.

I look forward to getting to know yourself and your child.

I'm a married mum with 2 children Millie & Joseph and my dog Bertie.

I have always been interested in working with children and I became a parent helper whilst my children were attending Thurcaston Early Learning Preschool.

I have just completed my Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce. I really love my job, and I find it really rewarding.

In my spare time me and my family have season tickets for Leicester City  and enjoy watching them play, I love going to concerts, reading, face painting and doing arts and crafts with my kiddiewinks.

Any spare weekend we have we are often found in our caravan in Ingoldmells.
